Privacy Policy

Norihiro Otsuki (the "Operator") sets forth the following policy regarding the handling of user information in the iOS application "SENNEN CAMERA" (the "App").

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

(1) Photos

  1. Photos that you take or select for transformation are sent, via the Operator's server, to an external AI service (the image generation API of OpenAI, L.L.C.) for image generation processing.
  2. Submitted photos are used solely for image generation. The Operator does not use them for any other purpose, such as advertising.
  3. Photos are sent from your device only when you explicitly perform an action (running a transformation).

(2) Photo Location Data (EXIF)

  1. Location data contained in photos (EXIF GPS) is stored only on your device, for a future feature (displaying your generation history on a map).
  2. In the current version, location data is never sent to the Operator's server.

(3) Device Identifiers and Usage

  1. To enforce daily generation limits, the App uses a random identifier for your device. This identifier cannot be used to personally identify you.

(4) Purchase Information

  1. In-app purchases are processed through Apple's systems. The Operator never receives your credit card or other payment details.

2. Data Transfers and Third Parties

  1. For image generation, photo data is sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States). Under OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted via the API is not used to train their models.
  2. The Operator does not provide user information to third parties, except where required by law.
  3. If advertising (rewarded ads) is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and users will be notified about data collection by advertising providers.

3. Data Retention

  1. Photos: not stored on the Operator's server after generation is complete.
  2. Generation history (date and time, event type, on-device location data): stored only on your device and deleted when the App is uninstalled.

4. Security

  1. All communication is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
  2. API keys and other credentials are managed on the server side and are not stored inside the App.

5. Children

The App is not directed at any specific age group; however, users under 13 should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.

6. Changes to This Policy

Material changes to this policy will be announced in the App or on this website.
